Photo shoots a great opportunities to look and feel your best, thats why it is so important for a model or actor to come prepared. If you are shooting the best with The Studio Miami, we will usually prepare you a head of time on what to wear and bring.
Here are 3 main areas to focus on for preparing for a photo shoot:
1. Hair Care: Have it Ready to Style
Unless the stylist suggests otherwise, have your hair clean and dry for the day of your photo shoot; this will leave your hair a blank canvas for the shoot’s hair stylist. If you want to use a blow-dryer on your hair, try your best to keep frizz at bay.
2. Skin Care: Don't try out new stuff before your shoot!
Want remarkable skin with a healthy glow? Use only products that have proven to work in the past. Avoid facials, peels, or laser treatments, as these can irritate the skin. This advice is especially true for people with skin sensitivities. Remember, it is important to give your face special attention. The skin is delicate and should also never be rubbed vigorously. It is also important to drink plenty of water at all times, but definitely in the days before a photo shoot.
3. Clothes: Keep it super simple!
Talk to your photographer or stylist and come up with a vision for your photo shoot. Bring a few outfits to change into. The goal is to show off you, not your clothes, so pick outfits that don’t overpower your natural features like bright colors. Avoid visible writing/logos or distracting photographs and patterns. Instead, stick to the basics. A simple tank-top and jeans is always great for a casual look. Avoid high bling or jewelry!
